1923  Albatross Motors Ltd.  10 h.p.

Location In Museum: Introduction

ENGINE TYPE: 4 cylinder
MAXIMUM SPEED: 40mph approx.

This car was made by Albatros Motors at their Albatros Works, Croft Road, Coventry.

It is a small 10hp car with a ‘Special Two-Seater’ body. In fact the car has one seat, a ‘bench’ seat that both driver and passenger share.

The name of this car may have come about because an engineer named Albert Ross could have been involved in the company. Put his name to together to get ‘Albatros’, although it is spelt incorrectly on the radiator badge and in the company’s publications.
